You would be surprised about how interesting my life—eh, who am I kidding. I have a pretty average life. I live in one of the states whose name ends with A or S (you’re going to Google it, aren’t you?), with a wonderful husband, two kids, and a dog. My husband entertains me with his hilarious form of ADD, and the kids are hell bent on proving I can live with only a few hours of sleep per day. My dog deserves a starring role on Prison Break—she just survived her sixth attempt at escaping the house. I can’t blame her—we’re not easy to live with.

I wake up every day just so I can experience that first sip of coffee in the morning. I swore off Disney movies the moment Mufasa died, which scarred me for life. No pun intended. I pick out all the orange flavored pieces from my candy and feed them to my hubby because I despise them. I’m a smart ass and I apparently passed on that gene to the next generation.

I have a real life job that keeps me busier than I would prefer. Outside of my family, the two things that keep me tethered to life are reading and writing. It took three decades, but I finally decided to take a break from reading and gave writing a try. Cursive was the result of that experiment, and I hope you can enjoy it as much as I did.
